Concept2 is donating this raffle prize in memory of a very good friend to many at Concept2, John Connell, who passed away this summer on July 8. He was 58 years old. His family requested that all donations in his memory be made to the Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports.
John had many gifts. ?He was a dedicated and accomplished athlete in hockey, skiing, hiking, biking, baseball, sailing and many other outdoor activities. He was a skilled craftsman, who was committed to excellence in all he undertook. John was devoted to his family and community, especially to coaching and educating youth. He lived with his family in Calais, VT.
A bit about the Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower:
Rowing offers superb cardiovascular conditioning in an impact-free exercise. It promotes strength and flexibility by putting the major muscle groups through a wide range of motion.
From intervals to long slow distance, rowing will keep your whole body fit for running or biking. Use it as a winter training tool or as a year-round option to prevent overuse injuries. It can also be great for injury rehab?though we hope you don?t need it for this!
The Model D even has a built-in generator that provides operating power to the monitor during use, greatly extending battery life.
The Concept2 Indoor Rower is suitable for all ages and levels of conditioning, from hard-core to rehab, kids to seniors.
Hope to see you September 30, 2012!!
